Zed Nelson is a London based photographer. His work has been published and exhibited worldwide.
Recipient of numerous awards including the Visa d'Or (France), the Alfred Eisenstaedt Award (USA) and First Prize in the World Press Photo Competition, Zed's work is regularly published by magazines in the UK and abroad.
Zed's work has been exhibited at Tate Britain museum, the Institute of Contemporary Art and the National Portrait Gallery, and is in the permanent collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum.
Zed's portraits have been selected for the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize at the National Portrait Gallery on twelve different occasions.
Zed's work has been published in three monograph photography books: Gun Nation (2000), Love Me (2009), and A Portrait of Hackney (2014).
Zed divides his time between long-term personal projects and commissions.
