Luca Sage is an internationally recognised portrait photographer.
His work covers a wide spectrum of portraiture, from editorial stories on bare knuckle boxing in the underworld of East London to exquisite studio fashion portraits. Sage has won four international photography awards including the Foto8 Summershow and his portraits have been selected for the prestigious Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize (shown at the National Portrait Gallery) on four different occasions. Much of his documentary work is now shot in Africa, especially West Africa, using his Social Anthropological background as a grounding for his large format portraiture series and sports based documentary projects. His work has been selected for many international photography awards including American Photography, Renaissance Prize and The New York Photo Awards. His clients include Orange, Hackett Clothing, The Telegraph, VICE, The Photographers Gallery, UNICEF, The Independent on Sunday, Monocle Magazine and The Guardian on Saturday.
