Quiet and considered, Laura Hynd's work has a tactile and visceral quality. She uses her love of natural light and the analogue process to create sensitive, honest and distinctive portraits.
Laura is passionate about the natural world and is regularly commissioned to photograph produce and farming, gardens and environmental stories as well as portraiture. Her work can often be seen in the Telegraph Magazine, Stella, FT Magazine, Sunday Times Magazine, Condé Nast Traveller, Wall Street Journal and New York Times amongst others.
She has been exhibited and published internationally and lectures in several UK universities.
Laura currently lives in London and escapes to the countryside wherever possible, with her Hasselblad in tow.
