Growing up, Andy always had a fascination with imagery whether still, moving or imaginary. He is inspired by art, primarily paintings and sculpture, as well as film.
Andy takes an intuitive, considered approach to his portraiture. He prefers to observe his subject in their environment, waiting for that intimate moment where they may "let their guard down" to reveal a more true sense of character.
Andy's portraits are known for their minimal yet bold, graphic style, which exude a quiet and contemplative quality.
